Y'all ready for this? Seriously, you need to be prepared. You can't go into a concert like this without the proper steps taken to make sure you're not completely blown away to the point of not being able to function. And with finals coming up, you don't want to get rocked too hard. But then again, you wouldn't be going to a Fiery Furnaces concert unless you wanted your face rocked mostly, if not completely, off.

Friday, April 18th (THIS FRIDAY) we have a pretty cool opportunity for five student bands. They'll be putting up their musical dukes to fight for an opening spot for Ben Kweller (Saturday, April 26th). We're putting Apollo , Charlie Van Stee Trio, Golden Bubbles, Jay Walker and the Misdemeanors, and The New Music Machine in the ring to perform for our panel of three judges and the audience. Come out to support these kids, it's going to be awesome. You'll get to know who's opening up for Ben Kweller before anyone else!
