OK. We've finalized the Funk at the Fred line-up for this year. Last year, we blew the place up with some wicked hip hop and spoken word. This year, be sure to strap on your dancin' shoes. Faux Jean has signed up to set the place on fire. Local darlings Digitata hold up the middle, with the famously-named TOMHANKS opening the evening. This is going to be the 12th annual Funk at the Fred concert. As we get geared up to roll into Fall semester, The Whole Music Club is co-sponsoring Minnesota Film Arts' "Celebration of Bikes and Biking." On August 20th, ride your bike to the Bell Auditorium Courtyard to check out an evening of live music and movies about bicycles. The music starts at 7pm and the movies start around dusk.
