Brett Bullion, formerly of Tiki Obmar, has been hard at work recording Tarlton's latest album at Ev Olcott's Integral Studio. The songs on this album are complicated little nuggets. We've all been hearing awful news from New Orleans lately. Here at the Whole, we are taking it particularly hard. New Orleans is probably the most influential city in America when it comes to music. New Orleans truly is the birthplace of jazz, blues, funk, soul, and other musics that we think of as "American". Nick Spitzer, host of NPR's American Routes show says: "This is a natural and cultural disaster. Maybe America's biggest cultural disaster - in the sense of the loss of New Orleans's cultural stuff, the loss of the communities there that interact and the lack of will to move as quickly as if these houses being flooded were on the coast of Kennebunkport....

Are you a DJ with a winning personality? Irene on TV is looking for an able and willing DJ to perform during the show. You get to be on Cable Access and everything! You supply the tables and music, we supply the wicked sound system. You may be asked to do ridiculous things for scetches and stuff, but mostly, we want the slamming beats and winning smile.
