10/24/2005Scary STNNNG?

Band: STNNNG

Missing media: 734Halloween's right around the corner, and we thought we'd bring in STNNNG to do some scaring. People ask me why I think that they are scary, and the best way I can explain it is that they are scary in a similar way that the Butthole Surfers were scary. The B-HSurfers a shade of what they were, but listen to this totally creepy live disk on their website. The songs are almost as disturbing as the cover art. Like in a way that you really don't want to mess with somebody who appears imbalanced and dosed out of their gourd. 10/21/2005Singer from The Plot gets "on" audience member

Seriously, too bad you missed the show! Because the lead singer from the Plot was giving a show all his own. From rubbing the mike on certain body parts (that we won't mention) to dry humping (male) audience members, it was shocking and hilarious at the same time! They totally rocked the house with their hard core antics, and had an unforgettable stage presence. Making out with the drummer of local favs Chariots capped off their performance. Too crazy for words. Other than these.

There have been so many great shows in the Twin Cities over the past few months that it almost seems absurd to be excited about a geeky Canadian band doing reproductions of 70's-era Genesis concerts. However, the band called The Musical Box is coming in November to perform the Genesis rock opera "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway". Lamb was the last in a series of amazing Genesis albums that featured Peter Gabriel as the lead singer, not that other guy. From the looks of The Musical Box's website, this is not a show for any...
