Hey ya'll, Summer is winding along lazily, but we're hard at work on the Fall 2006 semester line-up. Friday, September 8th is out annual Funk At The Fred concert hosted by the Weisman Art Museum. FatF is c0-sponsored by SHADE, the Onion, and our friends over at RadioK. We are pumped about the bands that have agreed to come and play. Opening the show is last year's Battle of the Bands favorite Apparently Nothing. They've got a lot of energy and play big southern-sounding rawk n roll. Next up will be Zibra Zibra, who has recently won the Battle of the Underage Underground competition. Finally, local group Revolver Modele will close the evening. RM sounds like a sexed-up Joy Division. They've got great lyrics and an amazing stage presence. Bring your dancing shoes!
