Do I start every one of these post-show blurbs with "wow."? It sure seems like it. And I don't want to sound like a robot here, but, ...WOW! Richard Devine was an amazing guest. He brought along a couple of laptops, loaded with sounds and music and an entire power point presentation of slides and video showing his influences as well as his home studio and working methods. Through the course of the evening, I felt like we got a really clear insight into his creative process, as well as how he came to make the music he does. When he performed a short live

3/3/2008mc chris coming to your town

Mark your calendars: This Friday, March 7, nerdxcore rapper favorite mc chris will be visiting our humble venue to rock us with his oh-so-geeky rhymes. If you're not familiar with this guy, do yourself a favor and check out his MySpace right here. Also, there are TONS of YouTube videos created for mc by his adoring fans (My favorite happens to be his rant on Resident Evil IV. You may recognize his voice from a few Adult Swim shows (most notably, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Sealab 2021).

Joining the mc will be local amazing-super-awesome-group, Dance Band. Their name does not lie; you'll find yourself grooving to their unique blend of disco,
