Phew. We spent all summer planning and toiling for the return of students, and they have returned - with a vengance! So long empty busses, so long calm corridors, so long sleepy Northrop Mall. Students are back in town and they are ready to rock and we are ready to put on some serious rock shows down here at the Whole Music Club.
First things first, let's talk Funk at the Fred. Yes, it's free. Yes, there will be a ton of people there. Yes, RadioK will be playing the sweet jamz out front. Yes, Mesa Pizza will be serving hungry people free pizza. Inside, check out Mel Gibson and the Pants, Ghost in the Water, and this year's Battle of the Underage Underground winners, We Valedictorians. It's gonna be hawt.
Then, check out our calendar for a list of our upcoming free or cheap shows. Roma di Luna is here on September 17th (and playing on the plaza Friday afternoon at the Fall Arts Fair), Aby Wolf shows up on September 18th, loud instrumental awesomeness happens on September 25th, and lots of other stuff is planned and in the books for this fall.
