So, Haley Bonar brought home some Minnesota Music Awards last week. She won for best American Roots Artist/Group and best American Roots Recording for "Lure the Fox". She deserves it, that's for sure. To celebrate, we're having her play here on Thursday. She's going to play with the awesomely-haired Chris Morrissey (who got nudged out of the best bass player spot by Sean McPherson.) Yes, it's free, and yes the show starts at 8pm.
The Painted Saints are going to open the show. I've been trying to get them to play here for a long time and I finally got a chance. Don't miss them. Listen to a sneak peak of the Painted Saints here...
